Hubby and I wanted to go to the movies, but as everyone knows the prices are ridiculous! Luckily we have a drive-in theater nearby. The prices are so reasonable! It's $6 per person. This is typically what you pay for a matinee. The bright side is there's always a double feature! So if you stay for both movies you're paying $3 per film! (You will pay $6 regardless of whether or not you stay or leave for the 2nd movie.)
We also got Papa John's Pizza. I had a $15 gift card from an online offer. (The one where I got 10 free song downloads for a trial period. I just canceled before I was charged!)
Here's how we made $20 into a fun date night:

Movies: $6 each = $12
Dinner: (Pizza, Free Cheese sticks with online coupons, & Cinnamon Dessert) -$15 GC = $4.86
Snacks: Popcorn & Large Drink = $3.00
Grand Total: $19.86
